The chance of every item in each box with an empty legendary meter. Every opening, alone or in a battle, also earns 5% of the box price as cashback (plus 0.5% for each overall rank above Rookie), separate from the draw, and puts 1% of the price into the weekly jackpot. Legendary meter
Each pack keeps a count of your rips in a row that were not Legendary, up to 50. Every one of them raises your chance of a Legendary on the next rip of that pack by an equal step, from the chance listed above up to 3× it once the meter is full. The meter stays full until you hit a Legendary, which empties it. The rest of the items keep their odds in proportion to each other. Battles have no meter: they draw with Legendary items at the average chance the meter gives, so a battle pays back the same on average.
Weekly jackpot
1% of the price of every pack ripped or box opened, alone or in a battle, goes into the pot. Every box opened earns tickets by its price: (price ÷ $10.00)1.08, rounded, at least 1. So a $10.00 box earns 1, a $50.00 box 6, a $100.00 box 12 and a $250.00 box 32. Each ticket has the same chance, so more tickets means better odds but never a sure win. The round ends every Sunday at 18:00 UTC and one ticket wins the whole pot, paid straight into the winner's balance. If a week has no tickets, its pot carries over to the next week.
The winner holds ticket number floor(roll × tickets) + 1, counting every box's tickets in the order they were earned, where roll comes from HMAC-SHA256(seed, "round id:tickets") the same way as box openings. The hash of each round's seed is fixed before the round starts and the seed is published below once it is drawn.
